Methodology using GIS technology in real estate engineering
Viktorová, Stanislava ; Sedláček,, Václav (referee) ; Klimeš,, Cyril (referee) ; Berka,, Milan (referee) ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with the interdisciplinary issue of variants evaluation from real estate engineering, multi-criteria analyses and geographic information systems, and represents the technological ways of the visual aspect related to mutual spatial relations of real estates. The thesis describes the design and verification of methodology dealing with the use of GIS technology in real estate engineering. The primary element of the methodology is the locality as a fundamental determinant of the real estate market objects to which strictly applies a unique characteristic of spatial information. The object location as such is defined by a large number of criteria that need to be spatially analysed. For the needs of spatial analysis was chosen combination of GIS technology with multi-criteria methods (MCDA) which evaluate variants of the problem. Objective determination of a suitable combination of weighting methods and multi-criteria methods is part of the methodology. An objective determination should lead to a reduction in the human factor risk by determining preferences and variants. The proposed procedures are validated on case studies which were dealt with in specific projects. This methodology should be beneficial not only for the criteria evaluation of price comparison in real estate engineering but also for several areas of multi-criteria decision making in terms of space and location-related data.
Use of multi-criteria variant evaluation methods to select suppliers
MAŠKOVÁ, Terezie
Supplier selection process in a selected firm using multi-criteria option evaluations.
Economic Indicators and their Systems
ROLLOVÁ, Lucie
The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze economic indicators and their construction. These indicators are used for the evaluation of the economic performance in selected states. It is very necessary to understand these indicators and their telling abilities in order to increase the living standard of the country. This thesis compares countries of the Visegrad Group and Germany, as a state with the strongest economy in Europe. The first part is focused on the theoretical description of indicators including composite indicators, which quantify the standard of living and methods, which are used for a comparison of states. The second part contains the comparison of selected countries. For this analysis are used data of economic outlooks of OECD and Eurostat Then evaluated data are used for Multi-criteria Decision Making. The result of the thesis is the evaluation of economic development in the Visegrad Group and Germany.

The Evaluation of Accounts for Associations
ŠVECOVÁ, Dominika
The aim of this diploma thesis is to devise general evaluation procedure of current accounts for associations and then to compare the theoretical results with the results of the questionnaire survey. The aim of the questionnaire survey is to find out what accounts the associations use and why. The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on the scientific discipline called multi-criteria decision making, its basic terminology, the methods of setting the criterions' weights and selected multi-criteria decision making methods. Finally, the associations are described according to valid legislation. In the practical part, selected accounts for specific clients are evaluated by using three multi-criteria decision making methods and the questionnaire survey is evaluated too. The conclusion is dedicated a comparison of the theoretical evaluation results with the questionnaire survey results and the author's own view of this issue. Familiarization of the author with the associations' activities during a personal meeting with them is the main benefit of this thesis for the author. The finding that the accounts of some of them are not as advantageous as they were before is the benefit for the associations. Some of them decided to visit their bank and change the account to the account recommended by the author.
Vehicle financing choice through decision making methods
Dubnová, Jindřiška ; Borovička, Adam (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to find the right choice of vehicle financing possibilities that are offered by a company named ŠkoFIN s.r.o. The first chapter analyses the behaviour of customers on the market of vehicle financing in the past 10 years and their current preferences based on a statistics given by ŠkoFIN s.r.o. The possibilities of a vehicle purchase are described and also their pros and cons. In the second chapter there are explained basic concepts and methods of a multi-criteria decision making with focus on methods based on a utility function and an evaluation according to preference intensity. The last part focuses on the analysis of ŠkoFIN´s customers that are distributed into characteristic subgroups based on their preferences and choices in the previous year 2016. Multi-criteria decision making methods described in the theoretical part of this thesis are then applied to those subgroups of customers. The aim of the thesis is to pick the best choice of a vehicle financing for different groups of customers.
Comparison of airline carriers on chosen route
Chomová, Martina ; Huňak, James (advisor) ; Denková, Dagmar (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison between airline carriers which serve the route from Prague to London. The comparison is made by multi-criteria decision making. The theoretical part closely explains history of aviation, as well as history of the chosen route. The thesis further describes trends on the short-haul flights. In the practical part are set and define evaluating criteria, and subsequently the WSA is made.
Renewal of selected vehicle in Volšatrans company
Hála, Michal ; Rathouský, Bedřich (advisor) ; Volšička, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the current state of Volšatrans transport company fleet, captures and evaluates its overall condition and subsequently recommends a proposal for its replacement. The change is made on the basis of the multi-criteria decision-making method, namely the TOPSIS method, the result of which is the output showing particular proposals for the replacement of the vehicle. This output may be in practice used by Volšatrans as a recommendation for selection of a suitable vehicle variant on the basis of their requirements.
Selection of application for project management in small digital firm
Syrová, Lenka ; Vrbová, Lucie (advisor) ; Šebek, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of a suitable application for project management in a smaller digital firm. In the practical part I worked with the IT firm Query Digital, s. r. o., which is formally classified as micro-enterprise. To achieve the chosen goal, multi-criteria decision making is used and the whole issue is considered a decision-making process. Based on the target group and my own knowledge, I set out the criteria and variants of decision making. Using selected methods, I determined the weight of the criteria and evaluated variants of decision making. The result is Teamgantt.
Application of the methods of multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives for assessment of long-term travel insurance
VOKROUHLÍK, Vojtěch
One of the aims of the thesis was to explore the Czech insurance market and choose an optimal travel insurance to a model client by using methods of multi-criteria decision making. The second aim was to set up a general procedure for wider use of selecting the optimal insurance product for customers with different preferences. The theoretical part of the study explains the basic concepts in the field of insurance and describes the methods used for the weighting of the criteria and selection of the optimal insurance. In the practical part of the study, insurance offers were obtained, a set of possible variants and a set of evaluation criteria were compiled. Based on the calculations was given recommendation to the client. The whole procedure was generalized after that and for verification was carried out a survey among students participating in the study program Erasmus+
